Hello Everyone! My name is Mariah Thury. I am currently starting my third year at Lake Preston as the School Counselor. I graduated in May of 2020 from South Dakota State University with my masters in Counseling and Human Resource Development, specializing in school counseling. I also received my undergraduate degree from SDSU in Human Development and Family Studies. Go Jacks!
I grew up in Garretson, SD, a small town located about 25 miles northeast of Sioux Falls. I spend a lot of my free time outside, I love to take my Golden Retriever and Chocolate Lab for daily walks. I also enjoy attending sporting events and watching the NFL. Go Vikings! I love to travel with my husband Chase and explore new places. I hope to someday visit all 50 states. I have 10 to go!
